Saturday, February 21st was Alumni Day and Princeton was well-populated with ‘69ers. The University had its normal strong program of presentations and speakers but the highlight for the Class was a special dinner at the Nassau Club arranged by Jack McCarthy. Thirty-three Classmates, spouses and friends attended for the good food and camaraderie but the real drawing card was a speech by Classmate Vince Farrell. A career Wall Street investor, money manager and money management firm executive, Vince is currently the Chief Investment Officer of Soleil Securities. He is also a frequent contributor to CNBC’s Squawk Box and to its Larry Kudlow Show. Vince led the group through a very thoughtful analysis of the current economic downturn, the market’s reaction and how it compares to previous drops. His sound judgment and logic was apparent at every step and all of us left the room with a better understanding of what has transpired and what we might see ahead. Thanks, Vince, for a great evening!
